2023 AT A GLANCE
BELOW IS A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT'S ON OFFER IN 2023. HOPEFULLY YOUR SUPPORT WILL CONTINUE TO ENABLE US TO CARRY YOUR CONCERTS ON THE 2ND SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Following our latest concert a short discussion about the clubs future took place. For sometime now each concert has been running at a loss. Some of them substantial. Given our current admission charge of £6 and the number of patrons attending compared to outgoings for artiste & room hire we could not continue.
The patrons in attendance were asked for suggestions about our continuation. A suggestion of £10 admission for all was proposed and voted on unanimously. Hopefully patrons not present at this concert will support this decision,to help us continue bringing live keyboard music to Belper.
It was agreed that the new charge will come into effect from January 2023.
This is the first increase in nearly 10 years and not something we wanted but needs must. The charge is comparable with many other clubs across the UK.
We hope that it will not put people off attending and the club can continue for years to come.

Brian Dawes
We are sad to announce the passing of club treasurer Brian Dawes on December 28th 2022 aged 88 years.
Brian was treasurer from July 1993 to October 2019 when he resigned for personal reasons. He did have 1 year out from July 1997 to June 1998.
The Funeral will be on Friday 3rd February at 1pm.
St Peter’s Church Belper followed by burial at Belper cemetery. Members & friends of the club thank him for 25 years of dedication to the running of the club.
